Wow! Thanks to everyone who made it out to our Year End Camp-and-Cook-Out at Leo Carrillo! It was a great weekend, with some great friends. Here’s a recap for those of you who missed it…
- Dive, dive, dive!
- Team members participated in a total of six dives over the weekend!
- Lobster are still being pulled at Leo – we got five of them
- Mini-Clinics
- Tim did a great job providing info on Oceanography and Beach Dives
- Jay provided some tasty cooking instruction, preparing lobster and abalone for the Team
- Ron and Mike had to cancel the kayak diving – winds were too high; we’ll try again soon
- Lunch – much thanks to Andrea and Doug Eplin for providing a great meal, with some help from other Team members!
- Served up food for over 30 Team members and family
- Awards
- October Diver of the Month – Nirupam N. won the drawing
- 2011 Diver of the Year – Congrats again to Nirupam N. (6 entries for Diver of the Month made him clear winner!)
- Raffle Grand Prize Drawing – Eric B. won the drawing
- Camping and Socializing
- Much thanks to those who braved the wind to camp with us
- Had a great time at the campfires, socializing with all of you
We all really had a great time, and appreciate the support you showed the Team by being there. Hope to see all of you again! Stay tuned for info on our New Year’s Eve Dive, and our first Team Meeting of the New Year in January!
