CIS Dive Team

Hit La Janelle / Silver Stand this morning with Tim, Doak, and Ron, to dig up some Pismo clams! Surf was a bit tricky – constant, erratic, 2-3+, with an incoming swell. Once we made it past the surf, into about 15′ of water, viz cleared out and we were able to scout around. As usual, not a whole lot to see, but good clamming. Siphons weren’t up due to the surge / sandy water, but the beards gave them away, and we got out clams, and headed back to shore. Good dive, a bit rough, but definitely worth the trip.
